Initial deposits are due May 22 for any student wishing to participate on this trip. The total cost of the trip is $1,650. This total includes: all air and ground transportation; lodging; all sightseeing and entertainment expenses; all meals; and all expenses related to the trip.

Please note that the trip cost is an ESTIMATED amount. We currently have seats booked on United Airlines for a cost of $700 per ticket. Southwest (SW) Air does not release their tickets until 6 months out. Historically, SW has better prices. We have no reason to expect this year to be any different. That being the case, we consider this to be a WORST CASE price for the trip. Our experience tells us that we should be able to improve this figure when we purchase our air from SW.

New this year: ALL New York City payments will be made through the ONLINE Stevenson Superstore. We will not be taking check or cash payments. The BPO will post trip account balances on the BPO website listed by student ID. It will be up to you to go to the website and check your balances. Once trip paperwork is received and reviewed, fundraising balances will be transferred towards trip payments. If the money in your fundraising account is not adequate to cover at least the first payment, please select the "Open Payment" option and pay the difference.

Fundraising

The May, September, October, and November deposits will be due in conjunction with fundraising projects (money earned in each project is automatically credited to each student’s individual account). Per established rules, any cash deposited could be replaced with money earned through fundraisers after January 30th, with the replaced cash being refunded to the student up through the date of the trip.

If a student does not make deposits on time per the schedule, they may be dropped from the trip, and will forfeit nonrefundable amounts on deposit.

Fundraising Policies & Procedures for Band & Color Guard: Whenever a student participates in a Band/Color Guard fundraising project, the profit earned goes into an individual Fundraising Account in their name. Each student participating in a trip also has a Trip Account which will hold all deposits for the trip.
